My surprise wedding gift!

So Bryan kept telling me about how he couldn't wait to give me my present and that I would be so surprised. I was completely clueless to anything he had planned. So, I finally was able to see this surprise gift when we came home from our honeymoon a couple weeks ago.

Sunni picked us up from the airport and drove us to Bryan's house. As we turned onto the street Bryan says, "Oh you're present is here, close your eyes". I closed my eyes and thought he bought a car for me if he could see it from that far away.

We pull up to the house and Bryan walks me out of the car. He let me trip over a few things on the way in and then carried me over the "threshhold". He brought me into the house and set me on a table, then he said open your eyes.

I look up to see a place that I didn't recognize at all. It was our new kitchen!! Bryan had Jim and Jimmy work on re-doing our entire kitchen while we were away.

They did everything from counters, to floors, to all new appliances and cabinets. It looks amazing. What an awesome surprise!! Here are a few of the before and afters....

Bryan is so sweet, I never would have expected a present this big. Now everyone has to come over and see it!!

We had an amazing time!! Thanks to you all!! Matt keeps asking me when we are going to do that again. I told him when Brad and Johnny get married. That will be so much fun!

Walking in honor of Jeanie

September is right around the corner!!!! Aghh!! Pretty soon we will be doing this:

We're winding down all the minor details of the big day. Here are a few things left on our plate:

1. Order the cakes (no biggie, only takes a couple days)
2. Alterations for the girls
3. Drop 10 pounds
4. Something Old (Bryans family)
5. Something Borrowed (Brookie)
6. Create Slideshow
7. New Clothes for all the parties and honeymoon

I need a "motivational speaker"

I'm in a rut from running right now and need to get back in the routine of things. It's so hard to start up again once you start. Any ideas, tips, words of encouragement are welcome.

If Bryan could run with me we could motivate each other like this:

We had a great time at the shower!! The girls did an awesome job of putting it together. I lost the clothes pin game about 5 minutes in. You couldn't say Bryan, wedding or gift so it was hard to speak at all!!
