I never thought I'd spend that kind of money on 1 bag either, but it's a darn good bag (I just did it for my birthday this year!) and I don't intend to need another one of that price point for a few more years and maybe by that time it'll be a yearly or ever few year splurge. :) I figure a really good bag you love worth that much (that holds up well as the pricey ones are supposed to) will save a bunch in terms of what I'd have spent on Target, etc bags that wear out too fast!
